Staunton’s season ended Saturday evening with a 13-5 loss to the Waynesboro Generals. The Generals jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings and never looked back.
The loss, couple with Harrisonburg’s win over Charlottesville, knocked the Braves out of the playoffs.
Eric Conner (Walsh) and Bryson Parker (Western Carolina) homered for the Braves.
Staunton finished the season with a 20-22 record.
